Position: Practice Manager

McKean Veterinary Services (“McKean”) seeks a highly motivated, experienced Practice Manager with exceptional interpersonal skills to become a key member of our team.

In the capacity of a leadership role model, the Practice Manager must demonstrate professionalism, passion, commitment, emotional intelligence, attentive listening skills and ability to communicate/implement the Hospital’s practices and policies while engaging and empowering the team members.

The Practice Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day managerial situations including but not limited to inventory, personnel, client relations, operations and facility management. The Practice Manager must have the ability to multi-task, juggle multiple work steams, and change gears quickly while setting/managing priorities and providing consistent follow through. He/she uses good judgment to differentiate between major and minor issues relating to the care of the clients, patients and staff while resolving any related conflicts that may arise from working within a dynamic environment.

Qualified candidates should have at least 5 years veterinary or healthcare management experience.
